1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They allow the site to recognize your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and provide functionality that depends on session state. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels, which function in comparable ways.

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies used on useoris.xyz, useoris.xyz, and the Oris developer portal.

2. How We Use Cookies

Fluxa Ventures LLC uses cookies to: (a) maintain your authenticated session in the developer portal; (b) remember your preferences such as language and display settings; (c) understand which features developers use most and where the platform can be improved; and (d) ensure platform security by detecting anomalous session behavior.

We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites, build advertising profiles, or sell data to advertisers.

These cookies are required for the Oris platform to function. They enable authenticated sessions in the developer portal, CSRF protection, and session state management for API key workflows. These cookies cannot be disabled because the platform cannot function without them. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable law.

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience. Examples include saved dashboard layout preferences, selected timezone, and console display settings. If you disable these cookies, some convenience features will not be available but the core platform will continue to function.

Analytics Cookies

Optional

We use analytics cookies to understand how developers navigate the platform, which documentation pages are visited most frequently, and where onboarding flows can be improved. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible. We use a privacy-focused analytics solution that does not share data with advertising networks. You may opt out of analytics cookies without affecting platform functionality.

Security Cookies

Always Active

Security cookies help detect and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized access attempts, and bot traffic. They are set by Fluxa Ventures LLC and by our security infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare). These cookies are strictly necessary for security and cannot be disabled.

4. Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may place cookies or similar technologies when you use the Oris platform:

  • Cloudflare: Security, DDoS protection, and CDN functionality. Cloudflare sets cookies for bot detection and load balancing. These are strictly necessary for platform operation.
  • Stripe: Payment processing on the billing portal. Stripe sets cookies necessary to process payments securely. These cookies are subject to Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.
  • Vercel / infrastructure providers: Performance and delivery cookies may be set by our hosting and CDN infrastructure to optimize page load times.

Fluxa Ventures LLC does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising network cookies on the Oris platform.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage optional cookies in the following ways:

5.1 Cookie Preference Center

The Oris website displays a cookie consent banner on your first visit. You can accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customize your preferences by category. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page.

5.2 Browser Settings

All major browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. You can block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or set your browser to notify you before a cookie is placed. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the Oris developer portal. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data

5.3 Opt-Out of Analytics

To opt out of analytics tracking across all sites that use our analytics provider, visit the provider's opt-out page or use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. We honor the DNT signal and, when detected, will not set optional analytics or functional cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for the platform to operate.

We also respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of optional data collection.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as applicable law requires. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Oris website. We will always update the effective date at the top of this policy.
